Our Team
The members of our team attend the same high school and share a deep passion for aviation and aeronautics. The Conrad challenge offered us an opportunity to build on this passion and develop a system to address a current challenge in the aviation industry.
Team Bios
Tiffany Ly
Tiffany is a junior in high school and enjoys seeing how manmade innovations can interact with the natural world, whether it is taking inspiration from it or trying to improve it. She enjoys the process of the conceptualization of new ideas, namely visualizing products and expressing new ideas to others.
Omkar Tasgaonkar
Omkar is a high school junior and is passionate about aerospace and aviation. He is a dedicated team member of aerospace related projects and a co-leader in his school’s Xprize team along with Rohit. Omkar enjoys to challenge himself to learn new mathematical concepts from analytics to analysis, collaborate with others, and apply those concepts in a real world setting.
Rohit Mekkoth
Rohit is a high school junior who is passionate about science, engineering, and business. He is a co-leader in the Valley Christian XPRIZE team along with Omkar. He is also an officer for the school’s DECA chapter. Rohit loves to apply his knowledge to innovate around real world problems.
Anijeet Kanjilal
Anijeet Kanjilal is a high school junior with a passion for both aviation and medicine. He is a leader in his school's Aeronautics program alongside Omkar and Tiffany, and is an avid member of his school's Health and Wellness program. Anijeet has a major interest in research, and is always looking for new ways to solve real world problems through research.
