Our Software
Our system consists of three basic parts: the dashboard, the software, and the complementary hardware
Our system uses heart rate and ecg data collected from the wristband sensors and pairs it up with facial data from the AI. We look for common signs of fatigue such as a lower resting heart rate (measuring change in heart rate over time), drooping eyelids, drooping corners of the mouth, and numerous other facial signs. Through a simple, yet versatile algorithm, we can detect fatigue accurately and warn pilots and managers on time while reducing the number of false positives.
Once the system detects fatigue, it will alert the pilot by using the vibration module included in the wristband, log the event and update analytics on the manager side dashboard, and provide the pilot personalized tips to overcome their fatigue based on their habits and fatigue patterns. Useful tips include having coffee, taking a stretch break, or scheduling a sleep break (only available for select long haul flights with relief crew).

Our Hardware
The Wristband
The wristband is one of the main parts of the WAvE system and comes free with all three of our subscriptions. It uses multiple sensors to track vitals and sends data over bluetooth to our software. The wristband alerts users through an adaptive vibration module with varying intensity based on the level of fatigue. (Replacements/extras offered for sale if needed)
Internal Components
Our wristband is equipped with ECG sensors and heart rate monitors that provide a wealth of data to ensure our fatigue detection is as accurate as possible. It is also fitted with a long-lasting battery, customizable straps, and a bluetooth module making it simple to connect to your device.
The IR Camera (Optional Add-on)
If you want to use WAvE during night flight, we offer an extra add-on IR camera. Just like our wristband, it comes with a bluetooth module and a long lasting battery, making it easily integrable with the WAvE platform. The camera has a clip to attach it to the side of your device of choice and helps make your night flights a lot safer. (Contact us for additional pricing details)
